Summary of Pool Regulations
General
- Please behave in a respectful manner that does not disturb or interfere with the enjoyment of other visitors. Any person causing a nuisance to others will be required to leave.
- Be conscious of the needs of others using the pool and especially be aware of the pool’s “highway code” – give way to lap swimmers at all times.
- No photographs of people outside your party may be taken without permission from the individual or individuals concerned.
- Proper swimwear is to be worn when using the pool or sunbathing.
- No food or drink brought in from outside may be consumed anywhere on the premises.
- With the exception of trained guide dogs for disabled persons, no animals or pets are to be brought into the premises.
- Smoking is allowed in the main pool garden area only.
- Swimming during thunderstorms and lightening is not allowed.
Children
- Unaccompanied children under 13 years old are not allowed to enter the premises without a supervising adult.
- Children must be properly supervised at all times by a responsible adult. One adult for every two children is the minimum requirement.
- Babies and children under three years old must wear a water resistant diaper.
- Running around the gardens and poolside is forbidden.
Health and Safety
- No diving allowed except racing dives by competent swimmers.
- Swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
- Please note that urinating and/or spitting into the pool are strictly forbidden under local by-laws and we reserve the right to expel offenders from the premises.
- Inflatable beds / boats / rings, and toys of any kind are not to be used in the main pool. Professional swimming aides such as water wings and floats are allowed.
- No organised swimming classes are allowed without prior approval.
- No ball games are allowed in the main pool except when organised/approved by pool staff.
